So I sleuthed for the image I needed, saved it, saved the others, and voila… (side note – I hate when people say/type walla instead of voila… sigh) anyway, now I have my custom blogger template. YAY me!
I love the look hope you do too.

Ok, so the blog redesign was nice for the less than 24 hours it lasted. I didn’t get a chance to save the images to my own files before image shack took them down for high bandwidth. Not my fault of course, I bet a bunch of people are just using the templates w/o hosting their own files.
Back to the drawing board.
How do you like the new template?
I figured out there are blogger templates out there too… and it’s a WHOLE lot easier to change than wordpress!!
That’s all, I have a headache…ugh.
Ok, so Nick and I finally have re-named our little musical venture and we have a MySpace Music profile up.
Crestfallen is the name of our duo and our MySpace page is http://myspace.com/thecrestfallenheart
Check it out, the first recording is up (Nick and guitar). We hope to get me some time to record bg vocals and some other stuff. I’ll be helping to lay down some keyboard and drum tracks too in my infinite time (HA).
Nick also entered the song that’s up there in the Fish 95.9 Fish Fest contest. They announce the last finalist tomorrow. Nick entered at the last minute, so we’ll see. The deadline was today, and his stuff arrived Friday or yesterday, don’t remember. Anyway, it’s a good experience to just enter something for him. We may try and record a video for the new Star 98.7 contest too.
Let us know what you think of the song.
Ok, maybe not the “best” in the happy sense of the word, but it made me laugh. Kind of at the church… anyway, not sure if Jesus is saying “way to go” on this one or not, hehe… The sign at the Calvary Temple (never heard of it before) in Orange said this tonight:
“Don’t wait for the hearse to bring you to church, come Sunday at 10 AM”
Interesting marketing. Those shocking titles will get people every time I guess.
I am waiting for one to say “10 Reasons You Don’t Need God” and for the sermon to really be about how much you need Him even though you don’t think you do. I have to pitch a blog to my church, hahaha. Let’s see how many blogs Anna will be writing by the end of the year, hahahaha.
Nick and I saw that church sign on our way home from Anthony Morse‘s gig at Chapman Coffee House in Orange. Anthony is a guy Nick met while working at Guitar Center (his brief stay there). I am so bummed Nick can’t just go work there and have fun talking about guitars all day – he met some cool people. Anthony had some great tunes and Aidan really liked it too. Check him out. AND… if you need something from Guitar Center in Brea, go see Anthony, he’s a good guy.
