Yay – Nick starts his new job today! I am not sure if the company is weird about people mentioning where he works so I won’t post the company name. Anyway, he starts at 7 this morning and I am very happy for him.
That leaves me to do all the work in the morning getting the baby ready and stuff amid the nausea, yay, hahaha. Time to suck it up.
How’s work for me? It’s good, just a lot of new stuff. Periodically I go through these little times of not knowing if I can really accomplish all that is set out before me, but it always happens, and I always apply myself. I went to Borders last night and bought a few books on Web Analytics, PPC (that’s pay-per-click for you non-search engine geeks), and on Marketing.

So – I used a due date calculator to see how far along I am. And I used the first day of my last period and estimated that I have a longer cycle than 28 days (I am about 35 days). And it said April 2nd. So that’s what I’ll use for now since it’s clear why I missed my period in July now.
So I’ll just chalk up the blood test that I had 4 weeks ago to it being too early to detect (I would have been 3 weeks at that point so it makes sense).

** I know I am a bad updater, but basically they were about to run a bazillion tests on me to see what’s wrong since my prego blood test came back negative 4 weeks ago. But it must have been too early. **
I did NOT feel this sick last time. I feel like I am going to pass out, puke, fall down, and plain ol’ die all at once.
Please God help me feel better….
This started this week with my cold. I have not slept at all since Saturday. I just lay there blowing my nose, or walking around the house in the dark. And all day I am just beat.
I am at work today – I so hope I am actually accomplishing something.
Can I just lay down?

So I have now officially joined the ranks of the plethora of other prego’s out there – yep that’s right I am pregnant!
Nick and I have baby number 2 on the way!
Now I know why I have felt so miserable haha. I had a cold this week that knocked me on my butt worse than any I’ve had in forever – I missed work for a cold. And I guess this is why I am so tired and weak and feeling like I’m about to keel over. Yipee hehe.
We are very excited. I have no idea how far along I am, so stay tuned for that. I’ll probably get an ultrasound in Sept to find out.

I just read this story about the US Navy not being able to use active sonor of the CA coast. The court and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) say, “noise pollution from sonar disorientated whales, causing them to become stranded on beaches. “
From the article:
The group, in a statement following the ruling, said the federal judge had
recognised that even the Navy’s own assessment concluded that the sonar
exercises would “cause widespread harm to nearly 30 species of marine mammals,
including five species of endangered whales”.
Um, I am a mammal…
They Navy is appealing because, “It potentially puts American lives and our national security at risk.”
UM YAH!! … I love saving the Whales and not risking endangered species. But I’d like to be considered a protected mammal thankyouverymuch.
