Best Twilight Soundtrack Review

Are you a Twilight Saga fan? Of course you are, others need not apply ;)

The Twilight movie comes out on Nov 21st and I will be seeing it at 12:01 AM on that date with a group of awesome friends.

Along with any monumental movie comes an equally anticipated soundtrack. This is no exception. The Twilight soundtrack is already #1 and the movie isn’t even out yet.

One of my friends, Mike, has a great blog, Musings for a Darkened Room. You can always check it out on the right sidebar of my blog any time. Mike did the best Twilight soundtrack review I have seen. It is a detailed review of each song selection, why it is or is not a fit for the movie, and other great insights about the music for Twilight. The best part is that he goes into detail about how each song relates specifically to the book.

If you ever want to learn a little bit more about the music you’re listening to, or find out about the GREAT music you are missing, Mike is the go-to guy. Check him out on Mixwit – I’ve learned a thing or two about some fantastic songs that I wonder how I ever lived without from Mike.

One of the Barbies is doing the Limbo and bends back at a 90 degree angle…

Today we’re hanging “in” watching movies, playing video games, coloring with Aidan, cleaning, etc. Relaxing too I hope.

Got rid of our “death trap” entertainment unit that we’ve had since we got married (7 years). Had enough of it almost tipping, and with all the little quakes we’ve been having didn’t want to chance a bigger one causing an injury or worse around here. Sounds silly but I’m serious. We had a heavy TV that we shoved back far while we pulled the entertainment unit away from the wall … used the weight of the TV to try and keep the entertainment unit “stable”. No anchor and it was super top heavy.

Of course, get rid of that and … well that leads to our recent purchase on our Best Buy CC. 32″ LCD HDTV, new stand, HDMI cable, DVD storage (the cheapie kind), 4 yr product protection plan for the TV. Yah well… I’m back at work now, I’ll get paid soon, and it’s interest free for 12 months. Not as huge of a purchase as I’m making it sound though really. Had a bunch of discounts.

It looks AWESOME.

Don’t judge, you know you want to come over. ;)

Oh and we now have a PS3 (that was last week) – Damnit – Best Buy CC you weakened me. But it’s been since before Nick lost his last job over a year ago that we’ve had any money we could spend. Now he’s at Oakley and SO happy and I love my job, it’s all happy. Now only if we could get some sleep………………………………….

did they just sing “shout to the lord” on ai? um I am glad that Jesus can make a network broadcast but it was a little awkward. but hey to God be the glory.

My Aunt on TV

My aunt was on channel 7 just now. They edited the heck out of her, hehe. But she said she’s probably rescheuduling an eye doc appt for my cousin so she doesn’t end up at school on Friday.

Anyway – hope all is well, and yes I hope it is just a prank, but I hope the school is more responsive to the students regarding their questions.

My aunt said in her interview that she had to find out about the issue from me and not the school, but they cut that out.

That the “break” that shows will be taking means when I’m having the baby and all messed up recovering there won’t be new shows on. They come back around April 24th (the shows I like anyway). And I’ll have LOST until mid-March and then it will be back in April. Perfect timing. I think I pretty much watch ABC and not really any other channel for the main shows I like.

I am super bummed that Private Practice won’t be back until next year though :(
