How can I keep up with my life?

Ok, it’s not as bad as it sounds. In reality I am not letting big things go. But I have tons of personal emails piling up, tons of work emails and “action items” that all seem to overlap and jockey for position. And I’m still plugging away at school. It’s already week seven of this class block, which means I am in finals mode for these nine week classes. Then I start all over again. So everything is really ok… but I feel like I am running a really long race!

The biggest news is probably the best news. I begin a medically managed (non-surgical) weight loss program on April 8th. April 8th is the first class… but the real deal starts when I wake up on the 9th. It’s too late for me to recount the details. Just know, I’m doing it, I’ll do my best to document it, and I’m excited to succeed.

My doc is already slashing my insulin by 50% on the evening of the 8th to account for my drop in carbs and calories. I’ll probably be totally off of it within a few weeks from then.

My end goal weight is 135… right now, I am 248. So over 100 lbs to go. Yep that’s right. But estimated weight loss for me in roughly 22 weeks is 40-60 lbs. That means I could be over half way before my 30th birthday in September. That is AWESOME!

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as:

Romance 9.5 and
Personal Attention 6.5

and then installed undesirable programs such as :

NBA 5.0,
NFL 3.0 and
Golf Clubs 4.1

**Music and Media 1.0 is the alternate software package for sports in the system I have. Guitar 1.0 and Video Games 3.5 were already installed, but were significantly upgraded after Husband 1.0 took over.

Also Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

**Housecleaning 2.6 is not fast enough for my system; he runs Housecleaning 8.0 and his own version of nagging 3.0 to resolve these issues.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

DEAR DESPERATE ,

First, keep in mind,

Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2, and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.

**I have never seen a “command” have a .html extension; this is not a successful add-on

If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.

**Grumpy Silence 2.5 has been upgraded to Brooding 5.0

Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

**Beer 6.1 does not work on my system

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources).

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 -program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

**Um, I think I’m in trouble… any other alternatives to Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7?

Anna: it’s pulling from other locations on the internet so any number of factors can cause a track to have issues.

The site is an aggregator, and that part of it is great….it’s the other sites from which the aggregation is gathered

Aidan has a tube of 3 tennis balls that Ziya gave to him. Ziya is Pam’s husband… Pam is our daycare provider if you’re just catching up

Aidan is sitting down at his tray for dinner… I move the table away… the table has the tube of tennis balls on it… which slowly got farther away from him…

Aidan: My balls!

Me: You can play with your balls after dinner!

Nick’s birthday was Friday (the 14th). The team at his work is so awesome – they took him to lunch and decorated his cubicle and gave him 2 Visa Gift Cards. They all pitched in and gave him $125!!! That was soooo nice of them! He was able to get some software he’s been wanting but had been putting off for obvious reasons – baby expenses, lol. I told him this is his money and he better just spend it on something he wants. The man deserves birthday presents, ya know?! He even has a little left over, and the software also has a rebate that we mailed off, so it’s extra cool.

On the 15th we had some friends over for pizza, cake, and video games. It was really fun! We played lots of Guitar Hero and some old school Street Fighter (we have the original ones and Super NES ones on a PS2 disc) and some Virtua Fighter. Games like that are always more fun when there’s a bunch of people playing and trash talking, er I mean watching
